Hello warriors,
here are two pictures of new plant render for World of Tanks, as displayed on the modified version of the Monastery map. Please note that this is not nearly the final version, which will likely be more... optimized. There is currently no ETA on the new render, but it will not come soon. Still, it looks gorgeous...
im sure they will fuck something up and this will give you half your normal fps....
ReplyDeleteThank goodness I'm not a pessimistic fuck. Life would be horrible.
DeleteThis is nice but what we want is multicore support so we can run it properly...
ReplyDeleteSince when did a cpu (regardless of its number of cores) render graphics

Deletewithout multicore support cpu is bottleneck for powerful gpu
DeleteIt did, it's just being constantly improved. But nobody cares, people gotta whine about something :3
DeleteStill only running on two cores..
Delete"NotSo Friendly" check yesterdays Q&A. ;)
DeleteLooks great but there is absolutely no chance it will be this nice on release, given wargaming's fear of overdoing things beyond the capabilities of the Russian calculators.
ReplyDelete"Looks great but there is absolutely no chance it will be this nice on release, given wargaming's fear of overdoing things beyond the capabilities of the Russian calculators." You've got something wrong there, they use Toasters to play World of Tanks over there in mother russia
Deletewell, this is a thing you can easily turn on/off, so I do think they will implement it, they implemented HD models as well, which russian turds pcs dont use as well
Delete... Why do people that live in Console Gaming Wastelands assault Glorious Russian PC Gaming Land?
DeleteAs weak as the average ruskie PC is... it is a PC. Not a ... console...
FFS guys, negative much?.. WG doing something to improve the game and all you can do is still bitch about it, soon as AW comes out and all the whinging scrubs bugger off to it the better.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, don't expect anything else below most of the posts here. Helps mental health~
DeleteI totally agree.
DeleteFFS guys, asskissing much? WG not doing something to actually improve the game and all you can do is still lick their asses, soon as AW comes out I hope WoT dies along with SerB and Storm getting fired.
DeleteSo whatever WG will release, you will still whine, don't you ? You better leave this website right now and let everyone say what they wanna say.
DeleteSome people are just born to be trolls and pessimists...
DeleteFinally no more 2D-sprite trees! I like it :D
ReplyDeleteIt will be too late to matter... but still, looks pretty.
ReplyDeletethey wanna blow up poor pc's :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Keep up the good work WoT
ReplyDeleteI like the grass. Hope the trees will look good in the distance too. Because right now they look like crap!
ReplyDeleteThese graphics are amazing indeed :o
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to have them, sometimes even with max graphics fields look too flat... These ameliorations should make it look better :)
HD tanks are great, but HD maps will be better, we will be able to look at it while waiting for an ennemy to appear in sniper mode :)
Can't wait until they actually add in multi-core support so they more room to upgrade easily.
ReplyDeleteThey dont look like WoT screenshots ;D (look amazing!)
ReplyDeleteThey look very good indeed, but I think that the same is going to happen as happened to War Thunder.. Nobody will play like this because it's so much harder to see your enemy.
ReplyDeleteWell, it won't really matter in WoT becaue you get target markers over enemies anyways, as well as a red outline when hovering over them.

DeleteThis is a graphical upgrade that WOT sorely needs, the current vegetation is really ugly.

ReplyDeleteNice! I especially like the grass! Actually looks kinda like grass now... XD
ReplyDeleteAnd just a quick word for those of you hating on the people who are not-so-entusiastic about this new development: they kinda have a point. Unfortunately Wargaming has made a habit of promising amazing improvements, only to implement just a tiny fraction of those grand promises. Its unfortunate, but Wargaming has done it too many times now for people to really trust them to come out with what they promise exactly as its promised, and I really can't blame people for being upset about that. Can you?
PS. I am not a Wargaming hater by any means. I love World of Tanks. I'm just stating a sad fact.
wow. another 10 fps gone. thank you wargaming!!
ReplyDeleteBuy a new computer.
DeleteGive him money to do so :D
DeleteI actually like it, hopefully we will end up anywhere close to the quality on those screens.
ReplyDeleteWG=Nobheads. Lets add more eye candy and hope that people forget that we cant implement proper multi core and SLI support in this game.
ReplyDeletethose shadows and lightning... oh yes, plants, whatever...
ReplyDeletepoint is, yes it looks great, but so did the HD models until we got them in the game.
We got one light source in game, until that is changed, we will never see this kind of image quality in game.
