Hello warriors,
normally, I do not care about e-sports but this involves us all. Wargaming decided to start selling via the premium shop (and giving away to people who visit the event) the AMX-13/57 French light tank during the WGL finals in Warsaw Poland, which will take place on 25th and 26th of April. That's when the vehicle will be finally available.

If it's around 15€ I might buy it. I would finally have a crew trainer for my 13 90.

Deleteis it a regular premium or a reward tank. it would be nice if the differentiated them in the garage like premiums keeping their names in yellow and reward tank have their name written in green or something just to show the difference.

DeleteI like to collect rare/premium tanks and my garage is teeming with 39 premie/gift tanks. However, I have little interest in the sub-premie reward tanks. If this is a full-on premie I'll probably buy it, if its a sub-premie like the individual mission tanks, I'll pass.

DeleteBoth you, Rita, and SilentStalker are so ignorant when it comes to e-sports part of WoT. Why is that? Do you always have to insert that phrase "I don't care about e-sports"? I'm not going to start premature bashing, but I would like to hear the honest and objective answer.

DeleteI will give you a reply as to the why e-sports do not matter to me. E-sports has no impact on my daily game play for me. I live to far away from any place that have e-sport events to participate in said event. That being said I believe giving free tanks to people that can attend, is discriminating to those of that can not attend.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if i'd get the AMX 13 57, i'm still at the AMX 12t and just coming to grips with the French autoloader scout gameplay (getting better too), but we shall see....
Just enjoy the 12t, because after that, comes the worst light tank in the game.

Deletethe 12T isn't exactly great... certainly not the ELC. Have to admit I am looking forward to the 13-75's speed and view range... Though I get it, as the first scout tier to go up against tier 10s, ya, not easy.

Delete...lol, i just finished the 13 75 today :) And yes, against T10 its really hard, u have only 36 ammo with low pen (so i went 18+18gold), but if u have premium account, u wil be fine. If u play it wisely and cautiously (u have very good camo rating with 100% camo skill), u can get 1K xp per battle, so its not bad. But dont expect to be very fast; other scouts, like MT 25, LTTB or Buldog are much faster and agile...
DeleteA crack ELC platoon can make an average tier 8 team look like idiots and slaughter them. It's awesome to watch.

ReplyDeleteAlso, on the EU portal, it says you'll get the tank if you check in at the event, but it doesn't say anything about it being sold as a premium... Any ideas?
