Matilda II operating

Check out this short video of a rare Matilda II operating at Oberon.
The little thing is so squeaky, its old and wants to rest on her garage making APCR granny cookies to keep her Tog II grandson in shape!

  3. Would be squeaky anyway apparently.

Thanks to the tracks resting on steel rather than rollers.

    1. This. The Mathilda is supposed to squeek.

    2. I've always wondered how much quieter it would have been if they'd used rollers instead. The tank might have been something approaching stealthy at full speed...

Might've been a tiny bit quicker too, due to less sliding resistance, though I think by the time they got to the tracks the mobility penalty for skids vs rollers was probably minute compared to...you know...everything else : \

  4. Anytime you hear the engine of a real tank you realize that the engine sounds in WoT are a joke.

    1. Which is why you then turn around and install fan-made stuff.

Because as much as WG likes to trash-talk engine sounds made from Youtube clips and whatnot, they're still infinitely better than the crappy "stock" engine sounds that we've had since patch 7.x.

  5. The grass behind the tracks looks very intact!
I was expecting a deep trench...
