Yuri Pasholok has shown us what the replacement for the Waffenträger E-100 will be - this corresponds to the earlier released info: it will be a version of Waffenträger Panther with a very long, very nasty gun. It looks roughly like this:
It will be equipped with 15cm L/63 (!) gun that can historically penetrate 200mm of armor at 4 kilometers. Without an autoloader of course. The pictures above are of the Grille 1944 model (the picture above is the 1942 model but it's roughly similar). Currently the replacement is in state of data collection, after that a picture will be made for the purposes of modellers and then the vehicle gets modelled.
There was another variant of the same vehicle planned - this time with 17cm L/53 gun (with the same penetration) as requested in a report from April 1944. This was not supposed to be an artillery piece but a superheavy AT gun. The shells weight:
- 17cm: 72kg
- 15cm: 45kg
Apart from these monsters the Germans requested a development of a 21cm assault gun on Panther chassis and the modernization of Panzer IV (with sloped armor, more powerful engine and 75mm L/70 gun).
