That was pretty cool. You don't often get to see the old girls on the road too often.
SIde note: My father was shot down dropping pathfinders for the 82nd Airborne Div not too far from there. He ended up fighting leading a platoon of glider pilots that was attached to 1/325th GIR. Earned a Bronze Star for leading combat patrols during the 1st 3 days, while the Div was so badly scattered...he was a 1st Lt US Army Air Corps at that time...
