Well, I've always wanted to visit Paris. Maybe they'll do it like in MW3 and blow Eiffel Tower up... that would be my kind of Artillery support at beginning :D
The Eiffel Tower should be visible, it's right across the bridge, and the north area of the minimap is a large plaza with fountains. Compared to the real place, the buildings seem a bit... sparse.
So we have Berlin and (or) Paris map, couple of tanks suited for the event (IS, Cromwell and T34-76 (or 85, can't remember correctly). That could be nice fun mode
clearly the frenchies who built tanks didnt expect their own designs to fight in their city (maybe they are confident that they can defeat their enemy in the countryside? u know, FRENCH)

ReplyDeleteThe Eiffel Tower shouldn't even exist :)
DeleteThe Eiffel tower is beyond the river on the north side, so visible only, likely :)
DeleteThe Eiffel Tower should exist because it opened on March 31, 1889.

DeleteYes but it was planned to be dismounted after the universal exhibition
DeleteYou mean dismantled?
DeleteIt means the same, does it ? (Sorry I'm not english)
Deletedismantled = broken up
Deletedismounted = taken from its socket (i.e. the thing as a whole)
I have to admit, dis_mounting_ the eiffel tower would be a lot cooler :)
Ok :)

ReplyDeleteShould actually be called Trocadero, Eiffel tower is off map to the North (South west, in reality)
ReplyDeleteDah, meant 'south east"
DeleteI found the location. It's the Palais de Chaillot and the Trocadero. Notice the curved walls and the Seine with a bridge starting at its end.
