Today's micropatch content

Hello warriors,

as it turns out, today's micropatch does not contain only Stronghold fixes (as the patchnotes from RU server declared) but also the elements of the April 1st "fun mode".

This fun mode involves one special consumable, that will unleash under (yet unknown) circumstances some sort of artillery strike. The patch contained:

- new hit sound for this special consumable
- new award (was leaked previously)
- the consumable mechanism itself

The consumable is officially described as "calling a crushing artillery strike to a designated zone, available for tanks from tier 1 to tier 10".

Icon:




Cost: from 50 to 220 gold (depending on tier)
Strike is active for 3 seconds
Loading time is 30 seconds
Blast radius: 10 (meters?)
Number of rounds: 3

Also, there are some firework rounds for artillery, their purpose is not known yet however

      Well if it has 30s activation most tanks should be able to move out but I can already see the coordinated strikes to push someone into the open (i.e. a platoon make a funnel to push people out).

      Not Rare at all give it a rest. I'll play 40-50 games in a day and have 2-3 crashes. Not my computer not my ISP. Crash at the end of game to desktop 90% of times

    Fuck this patch..no need for arty anyway, most of the times arty just ruin a good match on a good map, cuz then they all just camp...fuck arty, fuck this patch, fuck vanilla game from WG...WG itself will fuck this game up so bad...and then they will wonder, why are all playing armored warfare? cuz u fuck this game even more with each patch u put out, WG!!!!!

      Please, WOTs now is 1000 times better than when i started 2 yrs ago and u must be a BADDIE because i farm way more XP from arty than they farm from me and i doubt im killed by arty more than once in 250 games or more. U just never stop moving when ur spotted and arty sees that and ignores u for easier targets, noobs sitting in open not moving. Overall, WOTs is a 9 out of 10 just needing nerfs to arty and TDs at higher tiers, esp alpha.

    As far as I'am concerned the air strike CRAP in pub matches is just more noise. We have to deal with while we sit for 30+seconds waiting for the battle to begin

    "Level 80" - Assuming it isn't an April Fools day joke, is there a clue in the name? The Schwerer Gustav & Dora heavy railway guns were 80cm in calibre. Imagine a 80cm railway gun in the game.

    CORRECTION - WRONG INFORMATION

    The "Secret weapon" is FREE !
    It does NOT cost any gold nor credits

    Complete mission (Kill 10 enemy vehicles)
    Recieve the secret weapon (a briefcase)
    The weapon is now automatically avaiable in all your tanks as consumable.
    It takes 30 secs to load after battle start.
    Press 7 to use weapon
    You enter Arty Mode (Top View)
    Select target area, press fire.
    3 second countdown ...

    How much dammage is unknown ... but it freaked the hell out of the 2 HV assulting me and I manage get better of them during thems confusion.

    Now, go kill 10 more tanks...
    Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

    NOTICE !!!
    It will not work with many of GUNSIGHT MODS nor ARTILLARY MODS installed. It needs default vanila arty mode.

    MY SOLUTION :
    Rename your /res_mod/0.9.6/ folder to something else for that 1 game when you use it. Restore the folder again after that and go kill 10 more tanks
